UKS2 have had a great sports day where they took part in lots of fun and exciting sporting activities. In the morning the children completed a carousel of team sporting activities. They could take part in dodgeball, kickball rounders, handball and bowling cricket. The children had a fantastic time competing. In the afternoon, children took part in running races on the field with an amazing crowd of parents/carers watching on. All of the children gave it their best and had a wonderful time. These races included a flat sprint, an egg and spoon race and a potato (bean bag) race. It was a fantastic day at Wellgate! Please take a look at some pictures from the sprint races below.
