I believe that I am a kind, hardworking and considerate member of staff. I have worked at Wellgate Primary School for ten years. I have many things in my life that I am proud of, my son being at the very top of the list. In my homelife, I enjoy reading and my favourite book is Anne of Green Gables by L.M.Montgomery. I also enjoy foreign travel and the country I enjoyed visiting the most was Cape Verde. I enjoy working in education because every day is different, full of new challenges, new experiences and new learning for everyone. I particularly enjoy learning new random facts. I have achieved many different things in my life, one of the hardest things I ever accomplished was passing my driving test. I am inspired by many people, the main ones being my parents and my family.
I have one older brother and my star sign is Taurus as I was born in May. Whilst I love walking and tolerate running, I do not enjoy watching or playing any other types of sports. Whilst I was at school, I learnt to play the cello although I can’t remember how to do this now! I love watching films and listening to music; my favourite song and film is Xanadu. My favourite time of year is summer although I love Christmas too.

I am thoughtful, sensitive and a great friend. I have worked at Wellgate for 14 years and have had many different roles during that time; my current role being part of the amazing HLTA team.
I am proud of many things in my life but my proudest moment was getting my degree in Early Years. I enjoy watching children grow and gain confidence to achieve their full potential.
I love learning everything about the outdoors and feel that we have some amazing places to discover right on our doorstep in the United Kingdom. When I’m not exploring the outdoors with my husband and two dogs, I love to curl up with a good book; my favourite book to read as a child was The Minpins by Roald Dahl. I also enjoy musicals, such as The Greatest Showman and would love to be able to play the piano but unfortunately, I cannot.
I have two sisters, one older and one younger who inspire me. I am also inspired by my best friend as she is an amazing mum, caring friend, great head teacher and a wonderful person.
