Take a journey into the depths of Sherwood Forest and discover the hilarious truth behind the legend of Robin Hood. When the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and his gormless guards threaten the villagers of Sherwood, feisty Maid Marion hires a band of freedom fighters for protection. But when Robin and his Merry Men arrive, she soon discovers they're not exactly what she'd ordered! With no time to lose, she persuades these hapless heroes to take centre stage for the performance of their lives - if only they could stick to the script!
Audiences followed the most outrageous outlaws in history on their side-splitting, action-packed adventure to defeat the dastardly Sheriff. They stormed Nottingham Castle, rescued Maid Marion and overthrew King John - all without laddering their tights! A huge well done to the Y6 pupils for their superb acting skills in this year’s performance of Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodie. All of the children worked extremely hard to learn their lines, stage directions and dance moves. We also had lots of hard work and dedication off stage with children working on props, lighting and music. The Year 5 pupils learnt and performed the songs and dance moves perfectly – well done Year 5!Take a look at the photos to see how amazing the performances were. edit. to |
