Wellgate's defibrillator

This week, Wellgate has had its very own defibrillator fitted in school.

Wellgate has worked alongside the Oliver King Foundation, which is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of cardiac arrest and has campaigned for ever school to have a defibrillator. The foundation so far has placed 5900+ debfibrillators across the UK and saved over 67 lives.

Members of staff at Wellgate were trained to use this life-saving equipment should there ever be an emergency for any one in our school community.
