How does the school evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision?
We evaluate the effectiveness of provision for pupils with SEN by:
- Reviewing pupils’ individual progress towards their goals at least termly
- Reviewing the impact of interventions
- Using pupil questionnaires
- Monitoring by the SENCO (data, observations, learning walks, book looks, talking to pupils)
- Using Individual Provision Maps to measure progress
- Holding annual reviews for pupils with EHC plans
- Reporting termly to the Governing Body/SISG and responding to any questions from them
- Discussions with Parents/Carers and pupils
