Uniform

Uniform
In order to maintain a strong sense of identity and belonging within our school, we require all pupils to wear school uniform which consists of:
  • Red Sweatshirt (with or without the Wellgate logo on )
  • Red jumper or cardigan (with or without the Wellgate logo on )
  • White Shirt
  • Red or White Polo Shirt
  • Grey trousers
  • Grey skirt
  • Grey Pinafore
  • Black, flat sensible, safe, shoes or black trainers
Summer Options
  • Grey shorts
  • Gingham dresses (checked) – Red
  • Any cap to protect from the sun
All the above items of uniform are available from high street and supermarket stores. Items with the Wellgate logo can be purchased by contacting the Uniform Centre on 01226 207300 or online through Vortex Schoolwear.

Our uniform has been kept simple to avoid unnecessary expense. We expect all pupils to follow the dress code as written above.

Uniform PE Kit

During Physical Education lessons, the correct uniform should be worn which consists of;

Gymnastics / Dance / Indoor PE
Boys –
  • Black or Navy shorts
  • White round necked T-shirt
Girls –
  • Black or Navy shorts or cycling shorts
  • White round necked T-shirt
  • Black or Navy leotard
Outdoor Games
Boys and Girls –
  • Black jogging bottoms
  • Jumper
  • White round necked t-shirt
  • Trainers which support children’s ankles
Please make sure that your child has the appropriate kit in school and this is left in school all week as PE lessons may change due to changes in the weather and use of the school halls.

​Our expectation is that all children from FS1 through to year 6 attend school daily following our dress code.
