Year 2 had an amazing day celebrating World Book Day 2024. The children arrived dressed as characters from their favourite books and enjoyed showing their costumes in assembly. The children enjoyed reading the book 'Look Up!' by Nathan Bryon and completed a draw-a-long session with the illustrator, Dapo Adeola. They sketched the character 'Luna' from the story. They looked incredible! Year 2 also learnt about the famous female astronaut, Mae Jemison. The children considered what they would take with them if they travelled to space.
