The children in Foundation 2 enjoyed practicing our cutlery skills as we celebrated Pancake Day.  We learned how to use knives carefully to slice our fruit, then ate our pancakes using a knife and fork.  Look at the photos to see how hard we were concentrating.

We explored a range of fruit and described their texture.  We used magnifying glasses to investigate where the seeds were. 

We had lots of fun this week exploring ice and learning about Polar habitats.  Have a look at some of the habitats we made using loose parts and polystyrene.
