HSBC Financial Education Workshops

Last week, all children in F2-Year 6 took part in a workshop delivered by staff from HSBC. The sessions for each year group were based around themes that complement the learning they do as part of their PSHEE lessons. Children in
Year 2-Year 6 also took part in an assembly which involved learning about what a debit card can be used for and the different parts of the card and their functions. 
Due to allowing all of the children to take part, we were presented with the HSBC Smart Money Award for our commitment towards financial education. 
We would like to say a huge thank you to the team from HSBC who came along and delivered the sessions. They commented how we have such a lovely group of students and staff - well done Team Wellgate!
