Meet the Team
Miss Holden - Class Teacher
Hello, my name is Miss Holden and I have the privilege of teaching Team Resilient in Year 3. I have been teaching at Wellgate for 8 years and have taught in Years 2, 3 and 4. I love teaching and finding different ways to help children improve throughout the year. My goal is to help every child see themselves as a successful learner and to be proud of their achievements. My hobbies include watching football and going to gigs with my family and friends. I was born in Scarborough and enjoy going back to the seaside for an ice cream and to visit my Mum, Dad and brother as well as the rest of my family. I love watching Disney films and listening to the songs. You will often find me singing along as I am completing my work in school. I am really looking forward to teaching in Year 3 for another year and having a successful year with my class.
Mrs Poulter - Class Teaching Assistant Hello my name is Mrs Poulter and I am the teaching assistant in Class 3MH. I am a fun, kind and energetic person who enjoys working with the children of Wellgate because everyday is different. I really enjoy seeing the progress that everyone makes throughout the year and the amazing things we learn together. My favourite children's book to read is Harry Potter and my favourite and my favourite song to sing is the 12 days of Christmas because I absolutely love Christmas! My husband is my inspiration because he is incredibly hardworking.
Mrs Joyner - Class Teaching Assistant Hello my name is Mrs Joyner and I am the teaching assistant in Class 3KE/JBA.
