The Year 4 Pupils were transported back in time when they visited Murton Park to learn about what life was like for a Viking in 789 AD.
They began their visit by getting into their costumes before they learnt about various aspects of Viking life including: - Using clay to create their own tallow holders. - Grinding wheat to create flour to produce their own Viking biscuits. - Playing Viking games. - Learning how to guard the village incase of attack from the Anglo Saxons. Take a look at the pictures below to see the brave Vikings in action.
