3JBA Class Assembly - Loud and Proud

3JBA's class assembly was a true celebration of learning, confidence, and teamwork! From the moment the children stepped into the hall, they captivated with their enthusiasm and energy. Their hard work and dedication has shone through in every moment, making for a morning full of excitement, learning, and proud smiles.
The hall was alive with the sound of music as the children showcased their growing Maths skills with an engaging presentation about the 8 times tables, demonstrating their quick recall and understanding. They also took the audience through the addition column method, explaining step-by-step how to solve problems with confidence and precision.

The children continued to sing
 with passion and joy bringing History to life as the children took their grownups on a journey through the Stone Age. With fascinating facts and examples of our super learning, 3JBA described what life was like during this remarkable period, highlighting key aspects of early human civilization. Their enthusiasm for the past made history feel real and exciting! 

We know you will agree that t
heir voices rang out beautifully, creating a heart-warming atmosphere that had everyone clapping and grinning from ear to ear.

A huge congratulations to all the children for their dedication and incredible performances. Their assembly highlighted their learning across various subjects, from storytelling, artwork and creative writing to hands-on science experiments.

Year 3 Hinduism Workshop

Year 3 had an exciting and enriching experience during their Hinduism workshop on Thursday 6th February. The workshop provided the children with a hands-on approach to learning, making it an unforgettable day.

Listening to Hindu Stories

The children were captivated by traditional Hindu stories, learning about important figures and teachings from Hinduism. Through engaging storytelling, they discovered the values and morals that these ancient tales convey.

Exploring Hindu Artefacts

The workshop offered a wonderful opportunity for the children to examine a range of Hindu artefacts. From beautifully crafted statues of deities to intricately designed lamps and prayer items, they gained a deeper understanding of Hindu worship and traditions.

Learning a Traditional Dance

One of the highlights of the workshop was learning a traditional Hindu dance. The children embraced the rhythmic movements and expressive gestures, enjoying the chance to immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of India.

Dressing in Traditional Clothing

Adding to the authenticity of the experience, the children had the chance to dress in traditional Hindu attire. The vibrant colours and elegant fabrics made them feel truly part of the celebration, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of cultural dress.
This Hinduism workshop was a fantastic way for Year 3 to develop their understanding of different cultures and beliefs. A huge thank you to the organisers for making this experience so memorable!

3MH's Class Assembly: A Showcase of Learning!

Year 3 took to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm for their class assembly, wowing the audience with a fantastic display of their learning. It was a morning filled with excitement, knowledge, and impressive performances that highlighted the students' hard work and dedication.

Sensational Singing

The assembly was filled with lively and heart-warming songs performed by the children. Their voices filled the hall with joy, setting the perfect tone for the event and bringing smiles to everyone watching.

Stepping Back in Time: The Stone Age

History was brought to life as the children took the audience on a journey to the Stone Age. Through storytelling and facts, they described what life was like during this fascinating period, highlighting key aspects of early human civilization.

William Morris Masterclass

Year 3 also demonstrated their artistic talents by showcasing artwork inspired by William Morris. The children designed and printed their own repeated patterns, reflecting the intricate and decorative style of the famous artist. Their creativity and attention to detail were evident in their stunning designs, which added a beautiful touch to the assembly.

Mastering Maths: Times Tables and the Addition ​

Year 3 showcased their growing maths skills with an engaging presentation on times tables, demonstrating their quick recall and understanding. They also took the audience through the addition column method, explaining step-by-step how to solve problems with confidence and precision.

Exploring Science: Working Scientifically

Science came to life as the children shared their knowledge of working scientifically. They explained how they conduct experiments for discovery and learning.

A huge well done to all the Year 3 children for their hard work and fantastic performances. It was a truly memorable assembly that demonstrated their learning across a range of subjects.
