3MH's Class Assembly: A Showcase of Learning!

Year 3 took to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm for their class assembly, wowing the audience with a fantastic display of their learning. It was a morning filled with excitement, knowledge, and impressive performances that highlighted the students' hard work and dedication.

Sensational Singing

The assembly was filled with lively and heart-warming songs performed by the children. Their voices filled the hall with joy, setting the perfect tone for the event and bringing smiles to everyone watching.

Stepping Back in Time: The Stone Age

History was brought to life as the children took the audience on a journey to the Stone Age. Through storytelling and facts, they described what life was like during this fascinating period, highlighting key aspects of early human civilization.

William Morris Masterclass

Year 3 also demonstrated their artistic talents by showcasing artwork inspired by William Morris. The children designed and printed their own repeated patterns, reflecting the intricate and decorative style of the famous artist. Their creativity and attention to detail were evident in their stunning designs, which added a beautiful touch to the assembly.

Mastering Maths: Times Tables and the Addition ​

Year 3 showcased their growing maths skills with an engaging presentation on times tables, demonstrating their quick recall and understanding. They also took the audience through the addition column method, explaining step-by-step how to solve problems with confidence and precision.

Exploring Science: Working Scientifically

Science came to life as the children shared their knowledge of working scientifically. They explained how they conduct experiments for discovery and learning.

Creative Writing: Imaginative Storytelling

The assembly also included a wonderful showcase of the children’s story writing skills. They shared excerpts from their imaginative tales, impressing everyone with their creativity and ability to bring characters and adventures to life.
A huge well done to all the Year 3 children for their hard work and fantastic performances. It was a truly memorable assembly that demonstrated their learning across a range of subjects.

It would
Be so lovely if the performances could be recorded , I am aware not all children our aloud on social media etc , but would be nice for parents
To be emailed a
Copy to see their children for parents who unfortunately cannot attend due to work , I think so many things have improved since Mrs j took over , this would be one little thing that would be a nice touch plays etc
