Year 1 have been having a fantastic time in their PE lessons, where they are developing their teamwork skills while staying active and engaged. PE has quickly become a favourite part of the week, with children enjoying working together, supporting one another and celebrating their achievements. Recently, the children have been learning how to throw underarm at a target. They practised this skill by aiming beanbags from a distance into a hoop, focusing on their technique and accuracy. To challenge themselves further, they embedded this skill within a series of fun and engaging activities, helping to refine their coordination and control. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they develop their physical skills while also learning the importance of teamwork and perseverance. Well done, Year 1!
