The upper KS2 sports day was a huge success yesterday, with all of the children showing great team spirit and being 'cheerleaders' for both themselves and each other which was wonderful to see. The children behaved incredibly well and were a credit to Wellgate. During the morning, they each took part in a carousel of activities against different teams: quick cricket, kick rounders, dodgeball and handball. It was a pleasure to see so many parents then join us for the afternoon to watch the children take part in a range of different races. Well done to everyone that took part and also the winners of each activity. You were all amazing!
