 Miss Haigh - Class Teacher
Hello! My name is Miss Haigh and I am so excited to be teaching Team Outstanding this year! I have been teaching at Wellgate for over 5 years now, I have worked in Year 5 and Year 4 and I am really looking forward to teaching back in Year 5 this year. I am really looking forward to helping the children improve throughout the year, seeing themselves get better and being proud of themselves. I love learning new ways to do things and helping the children to do that too! My favourite hobby is going out for food with my family and friends, I have two sisters who love doing the same thing too! I have recently had a baby boy called Arthur, who I love spending all my free time with. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into Year 5 again and having a fun year with my class!

Mrs Barker - Teaching Assistant
Hello! I am Mrs.Barker and I have worked at Wellgate Primary School ,as a teaching assistant, for over 22 years. During that time ,I have worked in every year group even nursery. I am really looking forward to this year working with the Outstanding Ostriches and the great year 5 team. The best part of  my job is seeing the smile on the childrens face when they have achieved something.
I have two grown up children who actually came to Wellgate many years ago. My hobbies are crosswords, puzzles and cross stitching. We also have a dog called Buddy who takes up alot of my free time ! I can't wait to work with year 5 and have a fabulous year of learning and fun.
