Meet the Team

Miss Jarimba - Class Teacher
Hello, my name is Miss Jarimba and I am lucky to be teaching The Focused Flamingos in Year One this year. I am currently an ECT and I am enjoying developing my knowledge and skills as a teacher at Wellgate. One of the most rewarding things about being a teacher is being part of a child’s learning journey and being able to make a positive difference in their lives. I enjoy learning about animals – there is always a fun, interesting fact to learn. I like spending my free time with my family, going on walks and exploring new places. I love the colours purple and orange and eating chocolate chip cookies!

Mrs Hanwell - Teaching Assistant
Hello, my name is Mrs Hanwell and I am one of the Teaching Assistants in Year One. I love working in Year One because I enjoy watching the children challenge themselves and learn something new. I am most proud of my family and enjoy spending quality time with them. I love the colour green and my favourite place to visit in the world is Barbados. I love baking and looking for delicious new recipes to try!

Miss Cooper - Teaching Assistant
Hello, my name is Miss Cooper and I am one of the Teaching Assistants in Year One. I love working in Year One because I enjoy supporting the children in their learning and seeing them grow and develop. I am most proud of my two children. My favourite colour is pink and I love going on holiday, particularly to Greece! I cannot wait to learn more about the different topics we study in Year One.

Mrs Allott - Teaching Assistant
Hello, my name is Mrs Allott and I am excited to be working in Year One this year. I love my job because I get a sense of achievement when I help children to make progress and achieve something they have found difficult. I am most proud of my family and enjoy spending quality time with them. My favourite country to visit is Greece because I love the food – especially the cheeses and olive bread! I love the colour aquamarine and eating out in restaurants.
