Welcome to Class 6WW
Team Creative

In class 6WW, we will strive to help others and be polite to everyone. In our learning, we will always try our best and we will not distract others from their learning. We will persevere and be creative learners. Also, our class will try our hardest to be great role models. Finally, we will respect other people, learning environments and strive not to be judgmental towards others.

Mr Woodcock (Mon-Wed) and Mrs Woodcock (Thu-Fri)  - Classteachers
Mr Woodcock: I've been a teacher for nearly 25 years in Sheffield, Chesterfield and Barnsley.  In 2010, I started at Wellgate Primary and have taught in Y5 and Y6 during that time. I am married to Mrs Woodcock and we have two boys.  I have a keen interest in sport, computing and eating.
1. Describe yourself in three words: thorough, focussed and realistic
2.
What are you most proud of?: My two children
3. What do you enjoy about education? Why?: Explaining the key building blocks of future disciplines
4. What do you enjoy learning? Random facts
5. What is the hardest thing you have ever accomplished? Running the London Marathon in 2003

6. Do you speak any languages?: En Francais, un peu
7. What do you wish you knew more about?: Playing a musical instrument.
Mrs Woodcock: I thoroughly enjoy my job as a teacher. I love seeing lightbulb moments in the children that I teach, sharing knowledge with them and supporting them in their learning. I’m thoughtful, hardworking and determined and I believe that all these qualities support me in my role.
I have two young boys who I’m incredibly proud of – I absolutely love being a mum!
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, playing games and eating. My absolute favourite food in the whole wide world is pizza and my favourite type of ice-cream is Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough.
I would love to be able to speak a different language fluently or play a musical instrument. My life is incredibly busy at the moment but one day hopefully I’ll have the time to achieve one of these things.
