What is a P.S.A?
A P.S.A will work in partnership with families, parents, carers and children to overcome any barriers to learning and participation in school life. Our P.S.A will support all families to ensure that each child arrives at school ready to learn. He will also be able to support and offer advice on courses or support groups if needed. The P.S.A will work in a professional and confidential manner at all times.

Mr G Pollard
As your Parent Support Advisor, I am interested in finding out which courses Wellgate Primary families would be interested in, for example; gardening, crafts or exercise programmes. The learning community of Wellgate is your community, and I am pleased to offer you my support.
If you would be interested in a coffee morning or afternoon tea to discuss any ideas for future courses please let me know.
Below are some of the courses that parents / carers have already taken part in and enjoyed immensely.
- Sign language
- First aid
- Healthy lunchbox club
- Get fit together family
